Gaming you definitely want Intel. Going AMD with a strong GPU would be like running a Bugatti Veyron with a Dodge Neon engine. :lol:

Sabertooth is overrated and expensive. Don't spend a good chunk of your budget on the motherboard, on a gaming rig of any budget you always want to pour your remaining funds into getting the best GPU you can get as that's the most important part. CPU is important but everything else is pretty much an after thought.

 

[Why_Me]

This build allows you to add another one of those cards later on for a dual card set up. The interior of that case isn't black but that's an easy 10 - 15 minute fix.

There's four different sizes of motherboards:

Mini-ITX - this is about as basic of a motherboard as it gets, no expansion opportunities other than very limited (1 PCI slot, a couple of SATA ports, etc). It's meant for small form factor PCs

Micro ATX: A bit bigger than Mini-ITX - adds one or two more PCI slots and DIMM slots. Also meant for small form factor PCs.

ATX: This is the standard form factor. Most full and mid tower cases are designed around it.

XL-ATX: Bigger than standard ATX, is meant for large cases and can house multiple GPU setups.
