New BuildProblem

hey guys ive just purchased the
asus m5a99x evo motherboard
8 gigs of corsair vengeance 1600 ddr 3
saphire radeon hd 6770 1 gb flex edition
3.4 quad core amd black edition
and ive hooked them all up but when i boot up POST beep test thing is saying that no vga is detected..... the thing is that the motherboard has no on board vga... i cant see any display ports at all... the graphics card is hooked up but nothing... any ideas?

Need your power supply brand, wattage and 12v rail in amps. Some low end power supplies won't work with newer video cards. Got the 6 pin connector from the ps connected to the 6770?
