I am planing on upgrading my video card soon and am unable to decide on which would be my best choice. At the moment I am stuck between three choices.

EVGA gtx 570 1.25gb card

MSI gtx 660 TI 2gb card

Gigabyte 7950 3gb card

I'm looking to stay in the 200-300 dollar range. Any suggestions, information or other card ideas would be greatly appreciated.

PS incase specs are an issue, mine are as follows

AMD fx6120
10 gb ddr3 1600
2 x 1TB hdd
gtx 550TI 1gb (just not cutting it)
400 watt power supply (will be ordering a 650 watt when I order the card)

He is playing Borderlands 2 so I would say a nvidia solution would be better for him. I would say you would be just fine with 2 gigabytes xroe. 3 gigabytes is nice because in games like bf3 you end up using 1.5-1.8 in that range at max so I would imagine having a little extra would be nice no you don't get a performance increase from it but you do get a little more ram to draw from. Also with the recent article from techreport I would say the 7950 and the 660Ti are a bit different then what you see. mike.

I think you will be very happy with that card. It has a blower design so in a poorly cooled case it will perform well if you have a decently cooled case more props to you :)

honestly speaking i only bought that card b/c i was on a 130 dollar budget and i had to get a 400 watt power supply to. the card that came with the comp was a 7570 and i knew it was no where up to the task. i got it knowing i would only use it for about 4 months to hold me off until i could save up enough to get a better card.
