I'm having a problem with a new computer I just built. It won't clear the POST! The motherboard is a AS Rock Extreme 3 Gen 3, and the Dr. Debug is coming up with a error code of B2. I can't even get into the BIOS, its just coming up with a blank screen. There is no after market video card, I'm just using the integrated video card that is with the mobo. If you have any solutions I would greatly appreciate it.

Specs:

Intel i5 2500K
Cooler Master 212 Evo
DDR3 Corsiar Vengence 2x4GB
seasonic s12II 520 bronze

I removed to ram and took a can of compressed air and blew it down into the slots, and still have the same B2 error code problems....Any other suggestions?

Would this ram be compatible with the motherboard I am using?

CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM
DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model

Hello,

I just picked up a AsRock z68 Extreme3 Gen3 and I get the same problem when I drop my GTX 460 in to it. Running off my GT9800 or the built in DVI I'm able to get booted without issue.

From the manual the issue is "Legacy Option ROM Initialization" and from the digging I could find on this issue I do not believe that RAM has anything to do with it. Of course I could be completely wrong.
