Hello all,
I am planning to build a computer for the first time, so this will be a new experience for me. I have lurked the board for a little over a month and have an idea of what I want, I even bought the motherboard/processor already. So I have about 700-800 dollars to spend on the rest of the components.
Approximate Purchase Date: Will probably purchase the parts next week.
Budget Range: I'd say btw 700-800 dollars US
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, surfing internet, home media storage/server, streaming media to other computers.
Parts Not Required: This is what I have so far.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com, but any website with the best price is fine.
Country: USA, Washington DC
Parts Preferences: Well I have an intel already, I play WoW so might a slight preference to Nvidea(sp?), but it is Very slight, would prefer the better card period.
Overclocking: Yes, but nothing extreme. Would prolly be Oc'ed to 4300 at the max, initially only planning to do 4000
SLI or Crossfire: Yes, my motherboard supports it, but I don't know if I will do it.
Monitor Resolution: best possible based on budget
Additional Comments: Would like a good looking case that also has good performance. I'd really like an SSD drive for the operating system. I have a mouse, but need a keyboard.
I would be willing to go over my budget if it makes sense. Meaning, if it makes a huge different to go 100-200 dollars over then i'd be willing to do it, but not for a small increase. I don't really play the most graphic intensive games, but I at least want the option to do so.
