New Computer, Now or after Christmas...

I am interesed in purchasing a new computer (with a 2.4 ghz intel core duo and two nvidia 7900GS graphic cards, just to mention a few things) and was wondering if it would cheaper to buy the computer now or would there be even better deals after christmas? Please note, I am in no rush and I would buy the computer with a pre-formatted hard drive anyway (no need for vista or office 2007 yet). If anyone has any previous experiences with this type of situation any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Usually prices go down after Christmas.
