[citation][nom]amk-aka-phantom[/nom]I'm gonna keep spamming this question everywhere until someone gives me an answer: How do you aim with a joystick? Does it have a motion sensor? There're quite a few FPS on consoles, and now CS joins in, and you have to be fast and aim sharp... which I've seen only with a mouse so far. So?[/citation]

you dont you just use more cover, spray and pray according to the xbox boys I know

[citation][nom]amk-aka-phantom[/nom]CS is boring. Never understood the fascination with it.[/citation]

Neither have i...irritates me...am hoping CS:GO changes my perception about CS...always found America's Army the most realistic and difficult (and at times frustrating) multiplayer FPS...

This is ridiculous... Can you at least aim if you plug in a mouse?..

... on the other hand, I don't want to know - it's not like I want a console.

It must make playing FPS a hopeless amateur struggle, as far as I can imagine. I don't know how they plan having CS on there.

[citation][nom]dickcheney[/nom]12 years old do not survive in a decent CSS server. They will rage quit after looking at the scoreboard (0:20 or worst). Especially if they have to play with a joystick. Imagine the free kills and the trolling opportunities. They will be so mad...[/citation]
Yes, they provide excellent target practice, but at the same time absolutely blow up the microphone. These "elitists" are the main thing that drive me from a game sometimes too though, it works both ways.

[citation][nom]onehitxzibit[/nom]It's nice to see a new CS after so many years, but in my opinion it lacks new features. From the gameplay trailers it looks like Source with better graphics and a few new weapons.[/citation]you basically got it right. It is source with updated textures and gameplay tweeks. It shouldn't cost more than $20

It will not cost more that 20$...

Minus 'moar guns and mapz!' pretty much; except I think the graphics are pretty terrible considering today's standards.

Mediocre graphics means more people can play on their mediocre systems. This is inclusive not exclusive. I'm not a military shooter fan (I'd rather play tf2 or l4d2) but this will be a nice alternative to BF3 or MW3 which will be inundated with jerkoff teens. Cross-platform makes it even better since I can play with my mactastic friends. Viva la Valve! PS Stop whining about Half-Life ep 3...it's not going to happen. When a new source engine is released, we will get HL3.

cs is fun because of the simplicity. there are only a few guns worth using. you have to master the recoil. aiming has to be lightning quick and the game responded to these quick movements without feeling sluggish, much like quake. more modern games like COD and even cs:source lost the smooth, quick gameplay and feel that the original cs had. unless they can bring those characteristics back, not to mention the quirks like boosting and walling tricks, i dont see the game being a worthy update.

@ soldier

Not all the teens are as dumb as you were in your teenage. Teens these days are smart enough to understand when they can game and when they can't. Its not that all the teens will damage PC parts while gaming. Infact my dad once splitted squash on the keyboard and I was the one who opened it up and repaired the short in the circuit. I'm 13 and have assembled 4 PCs till now... These are not ancient days.

Looks like you are no skilled enough not to double post... Still much to learn.

Of course itll work on a i3, if you have a discrete GPU that is.

[citation][nom]soldier37[/nom]Teenagers shouldnt be allowed to game on PC. It ought to be like a inheritance when they turn a certain age then they can have one, like 30. Not before.[/citation]

If you are an admin and a 13 years old is playing CSS (17+) you must ban him. It is your civic duty.
