Question New CPU installed, No Display

New cpu,ram and motherboard but no display.Installed everything but when booting the pc turns on but the screen is black also there is a yellow light on the gpu slot.Any help?

Here are the pc specs:
nvidia gtx 950
ryzen 5 5600x
kingston 2x8gb 3200mhz
energon 550w

What were the parts prior to the new parts/upgrade? You should've listed your specs like so:

Motherboard:

SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:

Monitor:

^ so that should've been two sets, a before upgrade and after upgrade. How old is the PSU in that build?

What AMD motherboard did you get? You might have gotten a motherboard that isn’t compatible with ryzen 5 gen until you update the motherboard firmware

Your motherboard needs a BIOS update,(F60) to run the 5600X. Problem is, I dont think your board supports BIOS Flash so you will either have to use a 3000 series cpu to update it or take it to a PC shop and let them do it for you.

Try taking the motherboard back to your seller to see if they would update BIOS if you don't have access to an older CPU to do it yourself. If they can't help you might get AMD to loan you a cpu:

And BTW, if your board was manufactured before mid-2019 you might need a 2000 series CPU to do the update. That's not too likely in late 2021, just something to keep in mind, but if it has a sticker 'Ryzen 3000 Ready' on it you'll know.
