Hey

I was wondering if my motherboard can run a new CPU I want to put on in.

My motherboard - http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01635734&tmp_task=prodinfoCategory&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&product=3856272#N513

And the new CPU I want to get - http://www.amazon.com/AMD-HDZ955FBGMBOX-Phenom-3-2GHz-Retail/dp/B002TQYUAE/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1318764031&sr=1-1

Will this work together? And if not what is the best CPU I can get then because 2.2 is getting old lol. Thank you for reading.

According to HP, the motherboard supports the following processor upgrades:
- AMD Athlon X2 (Bt)AMD Athlon 64 X2 up to 6000+ (W)
- AMD Phenom Triple-Core up to 8xxx (AM2+) (Toliman)
- AMD Phenom Quad-Core 9xxx series (AM2+) up to 9850 (Agena)

The Phenom 9850 BLACK EDITION (part number HD985ZXAGHBOX) should be the fastest supported CPU.
