New custom PC makes crackling noises

So, a few weeks ago I built a gaming PC using all new parts, but all of a sudden I am hearing a crackling sound coming from the back. It's loudest on startup, but never seems to go away and is driving me crazy. I've never noticed it before, but when I was installing a game, it became incredibly loud and worrying. Any ideas? Because I don't think it's ever done this before.

Are you sure? It's either this, or I call customer support(if i can be bothered), but anyway, there are products out there

There are products to mount and cool a hard disk, but why would you buy a kit to resolve an issue that shouldn't exist in the first place? RMA the drive if it bothers you. Is it a model that normally is noisy, e.g., an enterprise drive?

Because to back it up and return it is so much effort, it is mostly quiet unless I'm installing something and a cheap dampener would solve all my problems
