Hi, i just hooked up my new Dell u2515h monitor to my laptop and it displays these thin lines randomly and the screen goes blank for a few seconds every so often. My laptop is a Dell 17r se 7720 with a Nvidia GT650M card running Win 10.

Things i've tried, replaced power and HDMI cables, rerouted cables, older and latest drivers with no change.
What is strange is the lines don't appear when i hooked the screen up to my xbox nor when on the Dell test screen accessed from the monitor buttons, though i probably need to test this for longer.
On my laptop side i used to connect it to my TV but hadn't done so in about a year, given the above probs - i tried and when i plug the HDMI cable in my TV flashes my laptop screen then goes blank and stays blank. This used to work fine. Is it Win 10 possibly or could my GPU be on it's way out?
