Hello, i am looking to buy a new gaming computer for 1080p(atm) Might upgrade to 1440p in a year or so. My current computer has 2 970's. I am looking to keep one and upgrade to a better gpu later on the road since my current problem with my computer is not the fps in games. The problem is outside games like desktop use chrome etc.

This is what im looking to buy

So my question is what would you change on the build? Im not really on a budget im just trying to get the best bang for my buck on an high end gaming computer.

I will link my old specs if that's something you want to know.

What do you mean by "outside of games"?

Are you having performance issues with Chrome?

Your current system is still quite good, if anything it should not be doing that great at gaming but should still be pretty quick for Chrome usage. If you don't have an SSD in your old build then that could be the issue.

Yes, I am having problems outside and stuff but I got the decision that I'm gonna sell it. Now my question remains if my pcpartpicker i linked above is a good gaming computer or anything I should change.

The PSU in your new rigg should be changed to 750w

Theres no GPU what are you planning for that if i were you might aswell go for the 2080ti especially after spending so much gonna be fun gaming are 4k resolution

Trident Z RGB is a great choice imo just got mine a few days ago the rgb themes are so epic and easily synced with asus aura it showed up next in the upper panel of aura software the first time i put it

Honestly your issues outside games could likely be fixed with a simple upgrade to an SSD.
Okey, but i look through some ssds to buy. But i am unsure if my motherboard supports m.2 NVME? Userbenchmark says it is a problem with m.2 NVME but not with normal m.2. But on the other hand pcpartpicker says there isnt any problem. How can i check this?

The new motherboard supports NVMe drives in 2x m.2 sockets (pcie 3.0 x4). Standard setup with a Sata3 m.2 will disable 1 of the Sata ports on the lower right as Sata is shared. The pcie 3.0 x4 is a different sub-system, so doesn't affect Sata ports.

2 x M.2 Socket 3
‧ 1 x Type 2242-2280, supports SATA & PCIe 3.0 x4 modes
‧ 1 x Type 2242-22110, supports PCIe 3.0 x4 mode

I'd sell your system complete as is, it's fully functional and working sli. Put that money back into the new pc. Just reinstall windows fully (formats the hdd) to wipe out any personal info, leave it unregistered just install enough to get the sli functional. Wouldn't take much to install a cheap 120/128Gb 2.5" Sata3 ssd as an OS drive, use the formatted hdd as storage/backup.
