Hey guys,

I am looking for a new gpu and monitor and im not sure what i should get. My budger is around €900 right now. I wanted to get a 980ti and get a 1440p 144hz ips gsync monitor. But as this is very expensive i wondered if you guys have any good recommendations, or should i wait for prices to go down.

Thanks in advance

In that price range u could get a gtx980ti and a decent 1440p monitor because as far as gaming is concerned. At ur budget a gtx 980ti would be the best right now for 1440p gaming as I wouldn't recommend investing too much on a 1440p monitor.... but if u are not in a hurry I suggest u wait till the Pascal series hit the shops and see what they have to offer :)
If u can state ur options for the monitors it would help us to choose from them as per ur budget
Well there will be the usual wait and see since we aren't too far off from a release cycle.

980Ti and a 1440p 144hz monitor are a good combo, but if you want to achieve 144hz in all titles you will actually need more GPU horsepower.

If cost is an issue, you might look into AMD's Freesync. The monitors are cheaper, but you would have to pick up something like a Fury X to get equivalent performance to a GTX980ti.
