Question New gpu upgrade how wil my pc perform rtx 4090

128gb ram
Rtx 2080 ti
M.2 gen 4 ssd x2. 2tb each.

X6 2tb ssd

My rtx 4090 gigabyte coming.
I don't care about gaming.
I do cg , 3d work , fx
Cinema 4d
Blender
3d max
Substance painter
Big list.

Gaming I do sometimes but don't want to add it to my question as games are not strong as rendering so youtube videos that show gaming benchmarks are usless test.

Can anybody share tips info.

When install what to be carful with as I read online about catching fire.

Also. Will I see increase in rendering speed or notice.
If so how much speed difference can you show example complex scene it can render and time

You forgot to mention the make and model of your PSU and it's age.

Can anybody share tips info.
Make sure you connect the 12VHPWR connector is fully seated, till you hear an audible click. You should also use DDU prior to removing the RTX2080Ti from your build, then manually reinstalling the latest GPU driver in an elevated command.

Making sure your motherboard BIOS is on the latest version is a good idea.
