Hi.

My problem is that i bought a Gigabyte GTX 960 2gb graphic card, which is not "working". It's fans are spinning but no display.
My PC now runs with a Nvidia Geforce 210 which works fine.
I'm sure i put the GTX 960 in properly with all cables connected.

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H61M-S1 (rev 3.0)
CPU: i5-2400 (on turbo)
PSU: Cooler Master Elite V3 500w

  • Tried the graphic card in a different pc, worked well, without problems.
  • I changed my PSU to a 1200w modular one, still nothing.
  • Played with BIOS settings, even turned off IGFX and set it to PEG.
  • Bios reset
  • cmos reset
I think something wrong with my motherboard, but its weird because with the g210 is working well.
I have no idea what to do 🙁

How old is the Coolermaster PSU listed above and what is the make and model of your 1.2KW PSU listed as a troubleshooting device?

Which BIOS version are you working with on your motherboard? Speaking of motherboard's, what OS are you on? Might want to use DDU prior to removing the other GPU in order to place the GTX960 in there.
