Wanted to get some second opinions on this hackintosh build and also if it would be better to stick with Mountain Lion over Mavericks.

I'd also like to know if dual monitors would be supported through the video card, using a combination of either DisplayPort, DVI-D or HDMI. What I'm really trying to accomplish is a cloned desktop / dual docks.

How stable are systems like this?

Thank you.

Splendid
Dual monitors are possible but I think you should stick with Mountain Lion as it seems that many people use it over Mavericks.

Also, I doubt you need 16GB RAM; you could stay with 8GB and still perform just as well!

That's what I was thinking — ML should have more support. It would be awesome to have the dual desktop. I couldn't even manage that on my non-retina MacBook.

Far as the memory goes, I actually don't mind since it wasn't that much more. :) Thanks for the response!
