New i7 7700k won't boot

I am replacing my old i7 7700k because I thought it might be defective, it worked fine in my asus z170-a. So now I put in the new CPU which is the exact same as the one I used and now my computer won't boot, all the lights and fans come on but screen stays black, I also put my old CPU back in and same problem help

I don't mean to be rude but could you start another thread stating this problem. Could bring more attention to the issue that's needed, since this thread is named what it is and has been solved for the purpose of the OP.
