New keyboard making PC freeze or just a coincidence?

I just got a new keyboard today (ducky shine 3 tkl) and my PC just randomly started to freeze up. It has happened quite a bit, even while trying to write this. This never happened with my previous keyboard which was a steelseries shift. I find it hard to believe it could be a coincidence that this started to happen right after using a new keyboard. When it happens the display remains unchanged, but my keyboard and mouse are unresponsive.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

UPDATE:
I just came home to find my computer with this blue screen error.

So it could be that this problem is an underlying hardware issue and it is a coincidence that it started happening when I got my new keyboard.

UPDATE 2:
I just ran Prime95 for a short time and there were no errors. Temperatures were stable.
Memtest86 also passed with no errors.

My problem has gone away for now, and hopefully for good. I found some bad external hard drive drivers that were showing up in the event viewer. I removed them and now my problem is solved (hopefully).
