New keyboard problem

I've bought a new membrane keyboard on Saturday and I have some problems with some of the keys. It's basically that some keys (left ctrl and shift, sometimes number 1 and space) require to be pressed harder and dead on the center in order to work.

Sometimes the ctrl (rarely) and shift (often) will lose contact, I will press down the key and keep holding it, but after 1-2 seconds it stops responding (e.g. I play CS:GO and when I want to walk, I press shift but I start running after 1-2 seconds).
I've had this problem before on my Toshiba P500, with space and "F" key, but it worked itself out after some use of the keyboard, as if it needed to be used for a while to get all the gears in motion.

So I was wondering if this is a normal problem? The keys work every time if I hit them perfectly in the middle, but if I miss, or don't apply enough pressure, they won't work.

Solution
That's not normal. Thats's the sign of a cheap or broken keyboard. It sounds like when you press a key off center, it's contacting/compressing more than one part of the membrane and it's registering extra keys.
