Question New laptop with an RTX 3050 Ti --- firmware update failed and errors ?

Hi,
i just today got my new Asus ROG Strix G513QE-HN115T Laptop. This has an RTX 3050 Ti mobile graphics.
After few hours of use I got a firmware update pop up in cmd window which went automatically but failed with an "application already open" error message. Since then my Nvidia control panel doesnt open saying "Nvidia gpu not detected."
I tried the following :

1. manually downloaded n tried clean install this driver "466.77-notebook-win10-64bit-international-dch-whql"
2. uninstallled nvidia files with DDU 18.0.4.0. and manually installed the above said nvidia driver. but still the same message.

doesnt the driver package also contain firmware files or how can i repair/clean install the botched up firmware update?

firmware update popup from what? asus? nvidia? windows?

it came up automatically in a cmd window. just like this:
