Dear all, could you please help me for the following: I moved my Chrome bookmarks (along with all my data, emails, etc) to a new location, on a new external drive. I now need to tell Chrome to look for the bookmarks at that particular location, I need to modify the path followed by Chromne to get to the bookmarks. I don't find this. Is it actually possible?
Thank you !!! France.
Sorry: this is in Windows 10. Thanks.

Hi Robert.
Thanks for your answer. I am actually not using Gmail and I am logging in my Windows with a local password because I don't want a Google account.
It might very well be impossible to use the Bookmarks from another location than the C: drive.

Sorry mate its not possible you are trying to do. You can't change the path followed by chrome.
You have to place bookmark data at "AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default". After that chrome will access all the bookmarks.
