Hey everyone, I got a new Logitech G900 since my old Razer Mamba was driving me crazy after the last Razerzone update (and buttons started to fail). Mouse looks and feels great, a bit light for my taste (Mamba was heavier, I need to get used to the new one).

The thing is the Mamba had max DPI 6400 or so. I'm a high sensitivity guy, always used the Mamba in max DPI, level 3 sens in Windows and between 1.5 and 1.8 sens ingame (CSGO).

With the G900 and 12k DPI I'm not sure if I should set it to max and then lower the Windows and CSGO sens. I've tried it with that settings but the cursor feels pretty inaccurate. Right now I'm using it with 6k DPI, Windows sens 3 and ingame 1.2 - 1.5 or so.

I've read a few months ago (when I got the Mamba) that the best was to set the DPI to max available and then lower the software sensitivity (from Windows or whatever game you are playing). Is that right?

What would you recommend me?

Thanks!

I don't get how people go above 1500 DPI, why not just change sensitivity in games? o_O
I run 1k DPI and just change in game sens.
Desktop must be pretty cancerous. :p
ALWAYS keep windows sens at 6/11, that's where it's best generally.
