Heard great reviews on the Ne02 Plat and that it's a great mobo. On the other hand I'v had some bad personal expereinces with MSI. Had several come DOA, so I've stayed away from them recently...YMMV. Definitely agree that the NF3 Ultra chipset is the way to go. Will you be OCing any? Have heard the Epox EP-9NDA3+ is a great deal for the money.

I thought that the 6800 had all 16 piplines unlocked anyway? Isnt it the 6600 the only has 8?

No, the regular 6800 has 12 pipes, the GT and Ultra have 16 with different clocks.

Aint been in the graphics card forum for ages. What is the success rate for onlocking the pipes at the mo? Do most of the 6800's still have 16 working pipes? Or is it only a few?

Supposidly the new 6800's only come with 12 pipes on the silicon, i.e you only get 12 no matter what.

So, get the older ones while there hot!
