just got new monitor and i have no sound it shows my audio is connected to new monitor but no sound i tried turning off pc and re plugging in monitor still no sound

If you think that is enough information for anybody to even begin to try and help you, you're in for a long road.

What are your FULL hardware specs including model number for motherboard or soundcard, monitor, HOW exactly are you connecting to the monitor for sound (USB, HDMI, TRS, etc.)

Have you checked the menu settings on the monitor itself to see if audio has to be ENABLED on the monitor side of things?

WHERE does it "show" your audio is connected? Windows? The monitor?

For anyone (not me) to attempt to start on a fix, they need to know what parts are involved.

You fail to understand that no one here can see or touch your system. Therefore it's up to you to provide every single detail so that those that can help have the information necessary to formulate those answers. Your initial response to being asked for those details has now marked you as one to be (mostly) ignored. You need to adjust your attitude or your tenure here may well be a short one. Are we clear on that?

Are you sure that monitor has speakers? Nothing in the product description says it does. It looks like it has headphone connection, though.
lol i have no clue i just assumed it did it popped at first when i switch monitor on for time time it said something about changing sound and it shows in settings says my audio provider is nvidia i dont know what that means

That's why manuals are included in the box. Most (if not everything) you need to know is there.

Nothing in the specs or pictures say...speakers.
DisplayPort interface that transmits both audio and video signals through a single connection to deliver versatile performance this is what it says in the info on the site
