Question New motherboard, no video

I recently bought a new motherboard, and now i'm trying to install it, but there is no video being output by the new board.
Only the motherboard and CPU are plugged in.
The computer does boot and post (i hear 1 beep), fans spin, just no video signal.
I'm wondering if i just have a bad power supply (altough i'm pretty sure its compatible), or if it's my CPU

intel i5 7400
ASUS Prime Z270-P
Coolermaster masterwatt550

No RAM? I believe you need to install RAM.

check that it can't proceed to operating system, maybe it does and the OS's videos driver will take over .. it won't solve but it'll be progress at least
