New P4C800-E, onbd EE1394 not seen...

New MB, installed, but, when I plug something into the firewire
connector on MB, that unit is not seen. EE1394 is enabled in bios,
anything else I could be missing. other firewire ports R being seen,
just not one on MB. Any and all help greatly appreciated...

Installed the drivers from the motherboard cdrom?

There are no drivers concerning IEEE 1394, and besides, the 1394 riser
works fine. but, to answer UR question, I did install updated chipset
drivers from ASUS web site.
