Hey im looking to buy a budget PC for WoW.

I was looking at a BUYPOWER Desktop PC HORUS Series NE659FX

Link here: http://

OR

A CyberpowerPC Desktop PC Gamer Ultra 2204 (GU2204)

Link here: http://

Would I be able to run wow at a decent lvl to be able to raid with any of those PC?

I also have a Radeon R9 270x along a Corsair CX750m PSU. Would those be upgrades? And compatible?

Thanks for your time in advance. John

This is without OS. You might be able to use your old one (you sounded like you have one), if you still have the license key. If its Windows 7 or 8, you could upgrade for free to 10 with that license key, or just keep the old version, which will not matter much with WoW. You could download the to your key corresponding ISO file legally and install it via a USB stick. There are guides about this on the Internet or I could explain it to you.
But right now I have to leave. I will be back later.

Of course you would have to use your case, GPU and PSU.
If you do have a Windows license, then you could replace the mainboard I chose, with the one Calnin chose, because its better.
Iv'e looked at diff specs and what would be best for WoW perfomance wise as well as price etc.

Iv'e come up with this build; http://

or this; http://

would this be any good/better in your opinion?
I plan to add an other 4G of RAM in the near future.

The 860k is even slower than the Pentium. The FX-6300 is also slower than the i3s I listed.

The best bang for the buck is the config I listed with one of the i3 I listed later. It will let you play WoW without any worries. The only thing you might want to upgrade in a few years would be the graphics card.
And you dont want to go below 8 GB of RAM.

@QVS, Then go for it. I was under the though that it was 350CAD.

@OP, It'll work. Personally, i think the PSU should be of a higher quality. CX series aren't ideal for most builds for gaming. It's like playing russian roulette with the system. If you plan on having a xfire or SLI system in the future, get a higher quality PSU.

If you're set or already have the CX, go and use it, and ignore the psu suggestions below..

If you're planning on just using a single card set up:

http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/firepower-power-supply-oczzt550w << Consider that one instead. It's still modular.

http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/seasonic-power-supply-m12ii620bronze <<< another one to consider. Still modular and much higher quality.

As for AMD Systems in general, you're usually looking at an overclocking system. You'll want a decent heatsink. Something for future investments. Probably not too important right now unless you plan on overclocking right away.
