Okay, so I bought a brand new cyberpower desktop PC around a week and a half ago. After about 4 days of use, an error occurred that resulted in me needing to reinstall Windows 10 to fix. I did so, and am now having issues with other parts of the PC. Namely, my GPU seems to be overheating. While I have not clocked the temperature of it when the freezing of the game occurs, the portion of the GPU that protrudes out the back of the PC is nearly unbearable to touch when the freeze occurs because of the heat. Once that happens, my PC becomes completely unresponsive, unable to even window to close the frozen game. I've searched these forums high and low and nothing is quite exactly like the issue I'm having. Below are my PC specs. I have confirmed drivers are up to date and GPU fans are working.

Processor: i7-9700k
GPU: Geforce RTX 2070
RAM: 16g DDR4
PSU: 600w 80+

That's likely all of the relevant information for this particular issue. If you believe you need more, I'll do my best to supply it.

It's probably worth noting I'm also pushing it to a 50" monitor. May or may not be an issue. The game is World of Warcraft and it runs max at 100 fps. There is no frame drop or anything leading up to the sudden complete freeze.

Someone else shares my suspicion of the PSU. I thought that may be the case but didn't want to place ideas in heads. Very generic, very skimpy in my opinion. Even on the page displaying PC specs it does not specify more than just 600w. I've heard of cyberpower skimping on psu to make the PC more affordable. So the answer is: I'm not totally sure. However it DID work well with no overheating issues before I had to reinstall Windows

I acknowledge that it may be the PSU. It's an EVGA 80+ 600w, which is basically garbage tier in terms of PSUs. However, I'm really looking to explore other options so as not to buy another piece of hardware for a computer I just paid $1500 for.

Separate note: there are a few items in my "other devices" section of my device manager that are sporting that lovely yellow exclamation point. Is there a chance that upgrading drivers for my motherboard may correct that, therefore correcting this bigger issue I have? If so, I will gladly post which driver updates are available for my motherboard. I searched over them last night but no info was provided as to exactly what those drivers were updating. So, I didn't do any of them out of fear that it would only serve to further the issues I'm having.

Thanks!
