Howdy,

I just built a new PC and when I downloaded EVGA Precision X1, the PC restarted on its own without my input and when I came back on it was downloading a Steam update. I wanted to see if I could find the reason so I looked in the Event Viewer in Windows 10 and I don't see where it restarted or the cause but I see a ton of warnings in the "windows logs" and then "system" option.

Is it a cause for concern to see warnings? Some of the event IDs are: 10016, 10010, 1014, 17, 27. From what I looked at, it's mostly the 10016 and 17 over and over again. Are these a cause for concern?

Why might the PC restart without any human input?

EVGA Precision X1 downloads are available as Standalone or Steam versions.

Other than New PC, you need a GeForce RTX, Geforce GTX 16 Series, or GeForce GTX 10 Series Graphics Cards.

Downloaded software needs to be installed. I doubt that would occur without user input.
I believe I found the culprit. Windows 10 will apparently do an update whenever after a certain time frame. So my time frame was set to 8am-5Pm where it would not do automatic restarts for updates but I didn't set my system time during setup because I didn't care about the time and so it hit 5PM which was around 10PM here and it auto-restarted... I'm almost certain it was due to that.
