I got a new pc from a place online that lets you pick parts and they assemble it for you.

The pc arrived yesterday but because i was busy i only got around to unpacking it today. I started it up got chrome downloaded. I then installed razer synape for my mouse and geoforce experience to get drivers since that is what i did for the last pc aswell.
Downloaded steam and installed final fantasy 14. I hopped ingame and started playing but not even half an hour later the pc just powers down as if i flipped the power switch.

This happened 4 times before i gave up and got back to my old pc. I was told it is most likely a software issue but i am pretty much a todler when it comes to this type of thing so i don't even know what to do to find out the problem.

In the pc is:

AMD Ryzen 9 5900x (cpu)

MSI 10GB D6X RTX 3080 Suprim X 10G (gpu)

Asus ROG CROSSHAIR VIII DARK HERO X570 (motherboard)

D432GB 3600-14 Trident Z Neo (ram)

SSD 2TB 5.0/7.0G 980 PRO M.2 SAM (ssd)

WD 4TB WD4005FZBX Black 7200 SA3 (hdd)

be quiet! STRAIGHT P11 PLAT. 1000W ATX24 (psu)

Crea SB AE-7 (Sound card)

Noctua NH-D15 chromax.black (cpu cooler)

NZXT H710 Window Black (Pc case)

I am not sure if there is anything else i could have done but the pc is brand new and nothing that is on there is not on the one i am using now so i am at a loss but if anyone has thoughts before customer service gets back to me i'd also appreciate it.

How many cables are going from the psu to the gpu. One single and one daisy chained or three single? Post a picture from the psu and gpu side of the cables if you don't know.

Straight Power 11 has four 12v rails. Three of them are for PCI-e and share the rails with cpu and motherboard. If you connect to much on one rail the psu shut down.
I do remember seeing A2 (IDE detect according to the manual) on the motherboard the first time but now that does not show up anymore even after it does one of its shut downs.

I'l post better pictures of the power supply later if i can. It won't let me post images here so all i can do is link them through discord i hope that is fine.

That's the best i could do really fast before i got to run but if you need better pictures i'l try and take some soon.

Right now it is looking like the cpu fan was not working because of a driver issue and the shut down was the cpu getting too hot. I did not see a cpu issue myself but after a long term test we'll know whether anything else is off.
