So, I purchased an Ibuypower y60 around black Friday. My specs are.
Processor AMD Ryzen 9 7900X 12-Core Processor 4.70 GHz
Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.2 GB usable)
Gpu Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 ti 12 gb
Storage 1 TB NVMe
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Operator system Windows 11
If anything else is needed please ask.
The pc started out fine but then It started to randomly freeze to the point of having to hold down the power button to shut it off. It also started to bsod but I believe the opera gx browser was causing the bsod since it only happened while using that browser and hasn't happen since I uninstalled it. But Last night it just randomly restarted when I was playing Warhammer 3 with my friends and i don't know what to do now. I don't know if it's a hardware related issue I'm running into or if its maybe something corrupted. Windows is up to date. My gpu is up to date. and I've run SFC in cmd and no issues arose. Please help

Immediately suspect an issue with the installed power supply, but that is based on that company's history with hardware.

Check Event Viewer and Reliability History to see what Windows is logging for these crashes. Expect to see Event 41, see if there are others.

Im seeing when the pc has bsod or when it restarted last night it was an event 41. So does that mean I need a whole new psu then? Also looking at the reliability history this is one of the windows crash reports.

Not enough information to be sure of it.

Can you see a make and model on the installed power supply?

Aside from the Event 41, are you seeing anything else in the Critical and Error tabs?
The PSU model is the HP1-J800GD-F12S
And looking at event viewer all the critical errors are the kernal 41s normal errors theirs a ton of different ones but im seeing 10010 alot

There aren't a whole lot of reviews on that PSU, but from what is mentioned it seems to be a pretty decent unit for the cost.

Looking at some older help posts on MS seems to indicate that the 10010 error would have been caught with SFC. Not really sure what to suggest from here. Perhaps someone else will chime in on it.
