New PC Won't Turn On

My friend and I just finished building his budget gaming PC. This thing will not turn on by any means. I've tried everything that I know of and it will NOT turn on.

CPU: Intel Pentium G358
Motherboard: ASUS H81M-E
Gskill Ripjaws X 2x4gb
Western Digital Caviar Blue 1tb
EVGA GTX 750 ti
Thermaltake TR2 500W
Silverstone PS09
Windows 8 (Not yet installed)

If anybody could help us get this thing working, that would be greatly appreciated.

Something is NOT connected properly. Check ALL of your connections.

-Do you see any led lights powered on the motherboard?
-Are you sure the switch on the back of the PSU is flipped to 'on'?
-Are you sure your power strip or wall socket is active?

The onboard LED is lit
The PSU is switched to on
Wall socket is active
