hello i am bringing a new pc also and i was thinking if you can see if this works for 3d rendering on 3dmax and revit and autocad....:

-cpu i7 960
- board flaming blade x58
- 16 gb ram ddr3 kingstone
- 1 tera hdd 7200 rpm
- vga gtx 470/1.2gb
- case thermaltake v4
- power supply 500w real

mmm... i7 960 is a nice processor with tripple channel memory support, but here's the thing I didn't pay attention to - to use the ram in 3channel mod you need 12 or 24 GB of it /on 3 or 6 modules/.

2600K will smoke any Bloomfield in all tasks despite triple channel memory.

ok i will check the power supply but i kinda got another offer and im a bit confused if you can help

- cpu 3.2 i7 8mb
- MB intel x58 SO2
- hard disk 1TB WD 64 MB Black edtion
- Case ThermalTake v3 Black
- power supply 600w
- vga asus 1.5 gb gtx 580

basically both are the same price but differs in some of the additions but there are the important stuff thank for your help:)

so you think the offer that i mentioned before is better all i am thinking about the vga actually i am goin for the firing blade but vga gtx 470 or asus for the use of 3d rendering and autocad...
