Hello and Happy New Year to everybody!

I've a Gigabyte Bronze p650b and i bought a 7800 xt, so for security, and as a recomendation from AMD with this new GPU, i upgraded with Seasonic Gold GX 750W.

The first time the PC booting normally. Then i suspended the PC.

A few hours later, when i woke up the PC, it starts to looping on and off, with that click sound for a couple times. When i turn it off the power button, it did another on and off, it was surreal (maybe some power it had).

I was terrified, so i turn it off completely. It was like it was preventing a short.

My specs: i5 12400f (65W) and a couple SSD and 3 140mm fans, GPU Xfx rx 7800 xt. It's around 550-600W. I repeat my 650 can handle it, but it comes with 2 year warranty and it's bronze, so i tried to secure my PC with this PSU (in the tier list, a good recomendation).

Then i tried again: on and off, all the time with a clic.

I installed again the old PSU, all goes right. I tested the PSU with the tester that comes with the PSU (connect the PSU directly to a socket in a wall, turn it on), and the fan goes as it works normally.

I was wondering: maybe some cable was touching something, like the PSU extra 6 pin that i put from the PSU on the back of the motherboard is touching something.

After the first loop, i pressed all cables to be sure they were fit well. They were for me. All correct.

The PC is working normally now with my old PSU and the new GPU have independent pci-express cables, not in daisy chain.

So... it seems the PSU could be ok, but something in my PC isnt' ok. I've the last BIOS (Gibabyte z690 ud ddr4) and my PC is 2 years old with no issues with the PSU.

Anybody could suggest what i could do? Thanks very much!
