This is me bragging
after lapping my volcano 7's base and allowing a few days for the new application of arctic silver to cure I retested for a new high overclock. My previous high score was 1.9ghz (post) with my xp1800 but my new high score is 2.035ghz! yes the thing actualy posted at a fsb of 177mhz! at 1.97ghz it booted! when I saw my desktop at that speed angels sung and light shone upon me from heaven, then I tried to take a screenshot from wcpuid...it crashed *sob* highest stable speed is 1.83ish it will boot higher but not stable this is incredible with only air cooling. I am so proud of my little baby

the thing is I push my system as far as it goes for a different reason than most others. I know that if I push it too far and dammage something, then I will work my ass off to replace it with something bettter. It's how I upgrade, when I ruin something I replace it. I never just go out and buy something new when everything works. wierd huh? and untill it brakes I have got one hella fast machine

my computer is so fast, it completes an endless loop in less than 4 seconds!

dude... how do you oc the fsb so high, without ruining the vid card or pci stuff? thats the thing that freaks me out heheh.

I put a heatsink on the northbridge, I have a hard drive cooler and I put heatsinks on my lan card and sb live too just in case... I figure if it gets ruined then I have an excuse to upgrade
