Hi all.
I just finished building my computer.
Case: HAF 700 EVO
MOBO: ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 Dark Hero
CPU: 14900K
GPU: GEFORCE RTX 4090 (ASUS TUF)
RAM: 4x48GB

The computer booted up and I got Windows installed.
It stays running and I'm not seeing any high temperatures yet (GPU gets warm).
Current CPU temp: 27C current GPU temp: 45C

No case fans are spinning at all. None.
Two in the back, two in the front, one on the bottom, none spinning.
The fans also have no lighting.
I have connected every cable there is to connect from the case.

Maybe unrelated, the fans on the GPU are barely turning (turn-stop-turn-stop).
The GPU has a 16pin, and it came with an adapter with four sockets so I attached 4x PCI-E cables to the adapter.

Also, I have yet to see the fan inside the PSU turn.

Still, I have left the computer on for several hours and it isn't turning off.
I should add that I still have the case completely open.

The only fans spinning in this rig are the three on the AIO (and the AIO is not lighting up).

I installed MasterPlus from Cooler Master and it doesn't seem that it detects any fans on the system.

Anybody else have this case, and did you have any issues?
Any idea what the problem is?
Thanks.

RAM: 4x48GB
Got a link to the ram you're working with?

The GPU has a 16pin, and it came with an adapter with four sockets so I attached 4x PCI-E cables to the adapter.
You forgot to mention the make and model of your PSU. If it's recycled from an older build, how old is your PSU and what did it power prior to the RTX4090?

The only fans spinning in this rig are the three on the AIO (and the AIO is not lighting up).
What is the make and model of the AIO?

I have connected every cable there is to connect from the case.
Might want to include an image of how you've hooked up the fans/cables in your build. host said image(s) on a site akin to Imgur and then pass on a link here for us to see.

Everything is new.
The PSU is AX1600i. All cables are inserted securely on both sides.
I have yet to see the fan inside it move. That said, the computer is not hot.
I only have Windows installed and I haven't done anything with it yet.
The AIO is Liquid Freezer III 420. The three fans came with it and they're working fine. I connected the AIO to the CPU Fan header.
The RAM is 192GB:

I only mention the PSU and GPU fans as a related matter. I'm really confused about the case fans not running. There is nothing left to connect in this case. I'm wondering about some kind of "quiet" setting that has all the fans turned off until a certain temperature. Just a thought.
GPU has reached 52C, so still not really hot. One or two fans will come on very briefly and stop.

Well, once again, I'm a moron. I always find it out after I post a question.
I assumed the fans were routed through the case and plugged in to one of the small boards on the case.
The cables for each fan were rolled up and twist-tied inside the respective fan housing.
That doesn't resolve everything, but I guess it will get those 5 fans spinning, and I'll post back on the rest afterward.

you should have a 12 fan hub on back side of the case( side right panel) where all the fans plug into and , you might have to plug in a spare Sata connector to it for power.. you should be able to also plug in the aio fans there as well

Thanks. I see the hubs in the back but I didn't get any response when I plugged in back there. I'll look to see if it takes a sata power plug. I know I had to attach a SATA plug to one of the case's loose cables, but I don't remember if that's what it was for.

I plugged in one of the case fans to a fan header on the mobo and it lit up and started spinning.
I couldn't get the light on the AIO going (if there is one, I'll have to confirm). The manual says that cable plugs into a connector on the AIO itself, which didn't work.

As for the PSU and GPU:
The AX1600i is defaulted to run silent without fan spinning until 40% load (640). I know I haven't reached that load level yet just by running Windows and browsing internet.
The ASUS TUF GEFORCE RTX 4090 likewise runs silent at low load. According to what I just read, it begins to spin at 55°C. I have only seen it get up to 53 since I started monitoring it, so maybe that's why it started and stopped, just on the borderline of 55.
For now, I think this thread is resolved.
Thanks, both.

ok.. if you have the hub,, its possible that all the fans (and and rgb, might be running via that.) the fans connector you plugged into the motherboard was probably once in the hub but came out... this might take you a few minustes to check.. but do the following..
1, go to the hub on the back internal case... try and follow where each wire that runs of it goes to.. hopefully you will find the sata/ it might even be a "molex" connector, and you might even find a "d.led/argb" connector (which would need placing on the motherboard.)... .
this might take some time, but if you find the issue it will be worth the time and satifaction you will have of sorting it..

as for your aio.. there should be 2 leads coming of the aio pump (on most aio's 1 is fan header/pump header and 1 argb/d.led). plug the fan header in connector that says "cpu fan", or 1 that says "optional pump"(this sometimes gives you more control over pump in bios). the argb lead (if your aio is argb on the pump) will need to be pluged into an argb/d-led pin connector on the board.)..

**** important.*** make sure you look at the argb/d-led. and plug it into the correct pin header.. as one is 5v and the other 12v.. you will see what you need by the pin holes on the connector.. so double check before random plugging it.. or you could fry your board, in worse case senario.

Yep. You guys were both right. I meant to follow up yesterday.
The last four fans (front and back) were routed through the case as I originally expected, but after tracing one of the fan cables through the case, it came out connected to the hub, and another line coming off indeed had an open SATA connector. I really thought I got everything connected the other day, but this one had dropped down in the bottom of the case and I simply did not spot it. Once the second SATA was connected it all started working and cranking out all those rainbows that people seem to like.

The only remaining thing keeping me from closing up the case switching to my new computer is the AIO.
It has 3 fans, all spinning, but no lights. Also the piece that covers the CPU heat sink is supposed to light up. It's not that I want all the lights (I keep my tower in the floor anyway), but something is wrong because I'm getting no lights anywhere on the AIO, and I don't want to close up the case with a problem that could potentially be farther reaching than the AIO.

I think I followed the directions well. When installing, I opted for the single cable (not 3 independent fans), so I end up with two lines out of the AIO controller (heat sink cover): a fan and an ARGB. The fan connector works wherever I plug it in, but if it isn't on the CPU_FAN header, then i get warnings at boot up about fan speed error. When I first installed the AIO, there was one open ARGB connecter hanging off the end. The installation instructions said to plug the controller ARGB into that one, and I can see that it runs serial to the all three fans. So I did it. No lights. I took that plug out and put it on the hub behind the MOBO. No lights. So I don't know what it is. All new equipment.

I'll probably leave the computer open another week to see what else I can figure out.
THanks all.
