New rig or upgrade?

I'm not too updated with current hardware, last time I read up on anything was 2 years ago when I bought this rig. I'm not sure if I should sell my current rig and add extra cash to buy a new rig, or just upgrade.

A couple of questions I have:
What's a rough value of my 2 year old rig?
If I were top upgrade what should I upgrade/keep?

Only GPU upgrade and adding an SSD should be necessary.
Go for GTX1070 and get an SSD (at least 250GB).

Throw in a SSD and if games are lacking maybe a 1070.

you're going to gain very little by moving to a z170 board and cpu.

Just upgrade your graphics card to 1070 and pop in a SSD.
