Hi all,
I’m looking to build my first PC mainly for 4K video editing with some gaming capabilities (ability to run recent games at 1080p and average settings).
I want to make sure I pick compatible components with the highest possible performance for my budget (around 1500 USD).
Thanks in advance for your feedback!

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X or Ryzen 5 3600
Motherboard: MSI MPG X570 Gaming Plus
GPU: MSI GTX 1660 Gaming X 6G
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 64GB (2x32GB) DDR4 3200MHz
Main drive: Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus NVMe M.2 (500 Go)
Case: NZXT H510
PSU: Corsair RM650x

Solution
Well under your budget (doesn't include a copy of Windows but you can either run windows without a license with minor restrictions to appearance and a watermark or buy a cheap OEM key). YLeft you room that you could also jump up to a Ryzen 3900X but I would recommend a X570 motherboard for that. Or you could get a better GPU, add additional SSD storage etc.
