I'm thinking about building a new Ryzen rig, attached below are the parts I'm thinking of getting.

That board might or might not have BIOS updated. In any case its missing a price tag. Here is another version for your consideration...

I don't see any issues with this build. You might want to add a tube of thermal paste and a small USB Drive in case you need to remove the processor/CPU Cooler for a BIOS update.

The FlashBIOS states that you only need the Power Supply connected. I don't know what effects (if any) are of having the CPU installed when attempting to flash the BIOS in this manner (never tried it myself)

Of course, if the motherboard comes with an updated BIOS, it's a moot point.
