Question New SSD drive

I have a Gigabyte B560M DS3H PLUS. There are 2 x M.2 x4 slots on the Motherboard, one PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 and one PCIe 3.0 x4 M.2. I currently have the Intel SSDPEKNW512GB on the PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 slot. This SSD use PCIe 3.0 x4.
So I guess I can buy a new 1TB SSD PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 and move the current intel SSD to PCIe 3.0 slot? Do windows will still work after the change ?
Do all SSD PCIe 4.0 x2 are compatible with my motherboard ?
I have an Intel Core i5-11400 processor.

Thank you ! It's hard to clone the SSD drive ? So I could use the new SSD gen4 for main partition with Windows.

Cloning is not necessarily hard.

But with these drives, I would absolutely leave the OS where it is, on the current 3.0 drive.
You'd see little if any difference either way.

All right thanks ! I will check the videos. Maybe I will buy a 3.0 SSD 1tb drive, a lot cheaper than the 4.0!
