Hi guys, atm i have
MB - Asus M5A97 EVO R2.0

Ok i have had a look around and have come up with this set up to maybe buy. Im not great at knowing prices and dont have great knowledge on build specs even tho i can build myself. What do you think? If so i better start saving.

I see a couple of open questions here:
  1. Do you need a new psu too? What model do you have and how old is it?
  2. Do you have an ssd or do you need one?
  3. Is your gpu a 2 or 4 gb model?

For Cpu, ram, psu and mobo I would go with this:
PCPartPicker Part List: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/NWxsJb

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor ($172.76 @ Walmart)
Motherboard: MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard ($114.99 @ Best Buy)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory ($73.99 @ Best Buy)

No reason to pay extra for a motherboard just because Asus brands it "Strix".
