New XFX R9 390 is chrashing my PC

So I just got a new XFX R9 390 and plugged it in to my pc, with all the required cables. I started it up, updated all drivers and it ran fine. So, I ran middle earth: shadow of mordor to test it and about 10 seconds after loading, my PC shut down and rebooted with no errors reported.

I don't think it could be my PSU as its 1000w

Any Ideas?

Your 1000 watt PSU absolutely could be the problem. What brand and model is it?

Is it a Diablotek? They rate 300W power supplies at 1000W.

Agreed. It all depends on the PSU quality, and almost all lower-quality units are at least 50%, sometimes even more, weaker than declared on the label.

Its a dell psu not exactly sure what model
