Newbie, Please Help..

Hi, I'm new to the sims and I have downloaded loads of objects and
stuff. Which folders do I have to copy the *.iff files into to get them
to work? Sorry for being thick.

If you have Sims 1, put .iff's in downloads, floors, walls and skins in
the appropriate folders in game data, otherwise follow the instructions
in the readme.

Don't have Sims 2, so I don't know yet how those work, but it sounds
like there is one folder and everything gets put where it belongs
automatically. At least I have a fuzzy memory about reading something
to that effect here recently. Could be totally off though.

Has to be 1. I've not seen anything that requires the moving of iff files in
2.
