Hello everyone,

Below is the old thread and i don't know, why i am not able to reply in that. So, posting another one.

My question: Someone suggested that the main reason is 400v SMPS which i currently have, and I should upgrade it to atleast 450v or 550v and it will resolve my problem.
I want to know, what you guys think of it before upgrading?

Please suggest.
Thank You

Have you configured Windows to create crash dumps? Those will help to identify the potential causes of the bluescreen crashes.

As the previous poster suggested, power issues are hard to identify. It could help.

Since you're using a Ryzen 5 1600 and on an x370 chipset motherboard, did you check the QVL for the RAM? The Ryzen 1000 series were very particular about RAM compatiblity. I would suggest finding out the precise RAM part you have and see if it matches the QVL for peace of mind (and to eliminate it as a potential cause as far as possible).

Thanks for your reply mate.
I dont have depth knowledge about these and having hard time understanding.
But i will try my best to provide whatever you need to figure out the correct problem.

Please suggest me the process/tool about how to create Crash Dumps and Check Temp and QVL etc.

Thanks

Assuming Windows 10 as operating system. Check the following site for how to configure Windows to produce crash dumps. (While I can't read them there are forum members who can.)
https://www.thewindowsclub.com/configure-windows-create-dump-files-blue-screen

A piece of software like HWiNFO can help identify the RAM you have:
https://www.hwinfo.com/

I'll leave the following as a bookmark for access as we'll need the info after you've found out your RAM model:
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/X370-GAMING-PLUS.html

Here is a dropbox link.
I have uploaded the Crashdump and Screenshot of the System softwares from you given tool.

Let me know what do you think is the cause.
Thanks

Bit disappointing. The RAM model doesn't seem to indicate any particular RAM (even Google search didn't return any results for it), and it doesn't show on the QVL for your motherboard. This doesn't mean it doesn't or can't work, just that it is not officially confirmed by the motherboard maker (and also assuming they keep the QVL up to date).

Let's try and at least eliminate faulty RAM as a probable cause. Download Memtest and let it run to see if it detects any faults.
https://www.memtest86.com/download.htm
Windows 10 has a built in RAM diagnostic tool - Windows Memory Diagnostic - but Memtest is more thorough.

One more thing,

I am planning to upgrade the SMPS as well. And for sure, i will check about these problems too.
So, please guide me which one SMPS/PSU i should upgrade based on my spec?
MWE 450 or 550 bronze ?

Thanks

For RAM compatibility: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/X370-GAMING-PLUS#support-mem-12
The Ryzen 1000 series were more particular about the RAM it could work with. I believe things have improved since its initial launch, but I would still go with that list to be on the safe side.

PSUs aren't a strong point for me, but there is a tier list over at the Linus Tech Tips forum: https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/1045610-new-psu-tier-list/
Focus on the quality rather than just the wattage. A good quality PSU can last a very long time.

Thanks for the PSU list.
They Cooler Master below 500 in Tier C category and 600 in Tier B category.

I am not sure, which on i should upgrade based on my specs. Please suggest any Cooler Master PSU.
Thanks
