Well theres no proof that in the bench's AMD Overdrive was used. Even if it is, it would be a selling point b/c for free it takes a PhII and takes it to an equal or higher level in gaming than an i7.
Wait a minute there..... No proof that overdrive works? Overdrive is a program that is written to overclock or underclock overvolt undervolt the entire Fusion capable platform. There is most definitly is proof it is called better results.

I said no proof it was used. As in the PhII was able to keep up w/o it.
I give you credit there. I for one actually see some improvement when fusion is on! I see more of a gain on computers that have alot running and then try to play a game. I use Fusion as well as configure it on other machines that come into the shop that I work at. Of course these machines have a requirement of being a fusion capable PLATFORM. i.e.- 965BE/790xt/HD4870x2 A.K.A - AMD Dragon platform (or a mutitude of other combinations.) These platforms are capable of FULLY running AOD! This is where Fusion really kicks in! Not only will it optimize background processes it will also use preset or user set Overclocking profiles. SO when you use your PC normally it runs at factory speeds and at the tuch of the mouse a good stable OC with some or all background services turned off and there might be some aother tweaks as well.
BUT yes the PII does hold its own in games! And a few other apps😉
Hey I like AMD and intel They both have a good product. For that matter I think that Mac has a good product as well. It just depends on what you want to do and how much you want to spend! (It also depends on if You like to gloat and show off)
