MS still trying to think it has the power to tell people what they want and how they should use it....nope, even windows 9 won't save them....bringing back what hundreds of millions of people want is long gone. You "start button" on the task bar was a slap in the face and you lost the trust to those hundreds of millions. I've moved onto Linux (Debian) and haven't looked back. Some of our mutli million dollar clients are looking into doing the same... All MS did was pretty much kill their growth option in business. They planted it in the ground and covered it with salt. As a developer or someone not willing to open their eyes up, I can see how most people would disagree with this, but the simple fact is MS has lost trust of fortune 1000 companies and the top 10 don't even use Window's for their mainframes anyways.

How about M$ make an OS for businesses without that stupid metro UI or able to start right to the desktop and bring back the full start menu. Also, make an OS for gamers that also has this option but with less bloat. For everyone who loves that trash, if you like your metro you can keep your metro.

As long as they keep the Start Menu as far away from any future version of Windows as possible it is all good. The thought of the Start Menu coming back is disgusting to even think about.

Dumbest comment yet. What a load of hyperbolic trash! Please donate your brain to science so it can be researched and a cure developed. NOBODY wants MORE Windows 8 tile nonsense....isn't that obvious yet?

That was the #1 annoyance for me on Windows 8: Metro apps were all full-screen or side-by-side, but never windowed. So, while an app is loading, I have a lot of screen real-estate that's taken up. I can't make the app windowed and then start using it once it was loading
