Hi all og you geeks :~D

This MB; Abit NV7-133R ATX, is it worth buying?
My price for it is around 120-130 US$, but is it lacking in stablity & performance, because og the NiVida chipset? I mean, I can save around 80-100 US$ if I buy this instead a VIA KT266/333 chipset mb - and theese bucks could be used other places in my systen.

It's a nice solid board, great performance, and the best quality integrated audio. nForce chipsets also have a Dual Channel DDR option which improves performance, but requires you to use two DIMMs in the proper slots.

Sounds good.....I'm planning a minor upgrade including the mb above a AMD 1800xp and alot DDR memory....how much unbuffered memory can it handle? 1,5 GB like most VIA chips?

I supports a maximum of 3 1GB modules! BUT you only get Dual Channel Performance if you use EXACTLY TWO modules, and in the proper slots.

Usually, ABIT produce very fast, stable and overclockable mobos. nForce is nice chipset. Here in Bulgaria ASUS with nForce415 costs about $80.But why not nForce 420 chipset??!
