No audio output device is installed

I today bought the Phenom II x6 1055t, and placed it on the asrock n68c-s ucc motherboard so today i installed windows 7 ultimate, and I have this problem, I have no sound, I tried updating the drivers, doesn't work, installing it again, doesn't work. What should I do?
I have a cheap sound card that has worked in the old pc.
Please help me!

Are you wanting to use your "cheap" sound card with the asrock n68c-s ucc, or the on-board integrated sound adapter?

If the former, you need to download & install it's driver from that card manufacturer's website.

You also need to make sure that on-board sound is disabled in BIOS Setup: http://www.wikihow.com/Disable-Onboard-Sound

I am not sure which of those two I want to use, but I did try selecting the onboard sound in the BIOS and still doesn't work! My brother installed the Anvex virtual audio device which fixed my my microphone, but not the speakers. I don't have the same X on the icon in the bottom right corner on the speaker icon that I used to have.
