[SOLVED] No audio with HDMI after install!!

New build. New to this whole process. Motherboard is a MSi B450 tomahawk max. CPU is Ryzen 3 3200g. I had my tv Hooked up through HDMI on the motherboard worked perfectly including audio. I installed a Powercooler R9 380 yesterday along with the new adrenaline software. My AMD software shows the GPU. I then plugged the HDMI to the gpu. I get a picture but no audio. I’ve tried everything that I know of. Any help?! Please!!!

There is no option for HDMI. Won't let me choose an output at all

I'd be tempted to DDU the drivers
https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
and then perform a clean install of the new GPU's drivers.

Ok. I'm getting somewhere!! I uninstalled the GPU from the system and plugged HDMI back to the motherboard. Audio was back with option to toggle between speakers and monitor. AMD HD audio back in device manager. I have 2 pci-e x16 slots. One is 2.0 and one is 3.0. I put the GPU back in but in the 2.0 slot this time. IT WORKED!!!! Problem is that slot is at bottom of the case and leaves no air flow ( like only 1/4 inch from bottom). What should I do now?!?!?

Plug the GPU back into the top slot.

See if it works

If not, DDU the drivers and try again....
