No cable connected

So I recently got a rx 480 and now it looks like my monitor wont work on it

My monitor is a BenQ GL2450

Any recommendations?

I have a dvi-d cable its all plugged in but it keeps saying no cable connected.

If you run your monitor off the motherboard video ports (onboard) or your old graphics card does that work? If so, use your onboard to update your bios, then reinstall the new graphics card.
